The Laughing Gas Project

The Laughing Gas Project is an interactive storytelling application which explores the history of dentistry through four short interactive films. The final project is fully explorable online, or by using a smartphone to follow trails of QR codes found in the streets surrounding The Dublin Dental Hospital on Lincoln Place. By selecting a combination of black and white balloons within the playlist, the user can control the level of ‘laughing gas’ administered within their viewing experience. The application was designed for submission for an MSc in Interactive Digital Media in Trinity College Dublin, 2011.

This project blog was used to create a (sporadic!) shared record during the projects research and development.
